Create Wealth Tip: Would You Rather be a Rat or an Eagle?

I work out of my home but when I drive on the expressway, I see hundreds of people fighting traffic to get to and from work.  By the looks on their faces and the negative energy emanating, I know that they are all stuck in the rat race.  Sadly, I believe far too many people are stuck in a rut; they go from home to work, work to home. They pay the bills but never seem to get ahead. Maybe this is you.

Here is the thing.  They are only there because they cannot think or imagine being anywhere else. I wonder how many of them would really like to get out of the rat race and soar with the eagles.

Getting out of the rut is possible for anyone. It only takes one major change in mindset and then everything else will come.  You need to develop a wealth consciousness. It begins by asking yourself, “If I could do anything in the world, what would I do?” This is a great question, and one that shouldn’t be dismissed.

Once you decide what you want to do, immediately start visualizing yourself doing just that.  Do not dream small.  Think big!  And start to imagine how it looks and feels.  This is how you start to create wings. It starts with just this one step.

Next, be prepared for the critics who are sure to tell you that you’re just a dreamer. That may be so, but without a dream where would Walt Disney have ended up? The same could be said about Martin Luther King, Sam Walton, Donald Trump, and on and on. Those who refuse to dream are destined to stay in the rut.

There’s an old proverb that says, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” That’s the gospel truth. It is this very principle that gave our forefathers the courage and audacity to take just one step to start this country and look where it is today.  If anyone can create their dream, so can you.
